Natural Heroism

This is something… that comes naturally I guess. I think I always wanted to save everyone’s lives in my own special way, ever since I was little.

Natural Heroism is like… a voice inside you that you cannot ignore, and its a call that feels like there’s something else beating inside of you instead of your own heart, except it’s always in my head.

It affects me without me noticing it until I do great things. It really came through for me in Grade Six when I had to deal with a psychotic teacher who tried to use and control me, thus breaking the law. She got away since she was pregnant at the time, and knowing her, she would’ve done the things she did to me in Grade Six even if she wasn’t pregnant.

Natural Heroism, as I noticed, affects some of my favourite cartoon characters, in particular, Ulrich Stern from Code Lyoko. Without him and his natural heroism trait, the group would’ve been screwed in the first and second seasons of the show.

There have been many occaisions when Ulrich could’ve said ‘Screw the Lyoko project! I’ll leave you guys to your own business!’ But he didn’t, because 1) He was in love with Yumi one of his teammates, 2) He puts his friends’ desires before his own, 3) He’s the most physically developed character in the group, so he’s pretty much their ‘makeshift bodyguard’ and 4) He’s the strongest warrior on Lyoko (And that’s fact).

And he has shown his selflessness so many times throughout the show it’s not funny. I find that amazing, since he’s under pressure from his Dad to get the most perfect grades in every subject.

Somewhat, I like the selfless nature of Natural Heroism, and the world might be a better place if we stood by each other’s sides and protected them.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords

Well, this particular Star Wars I like a lot, and has a very deep and meaningful storyline behind it.

This game is based five years after Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. You are a Jedi exiled from the Council after the Jedi Civil War five years ago. The Jedi (You) have fought in the Madorlorian War ten years ago and the Jedi Civil War five years ago, and still carry the ‘wounds’ of both the wars, making an ‘echo’ in the Force. You’ve just escaped a ship, called the Harbringer, and are now drifting in space on the Ebon Hawk.

Little does the Jedi (You) know, are the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy, and his/her decisions will affect the galaxy forever.

You can choose to be a Jedi Guardian, Jedi Sentinal or a Jedi Counsulor, and you can also choose to be on the Light Side, or the Dark Side of the Force throughout the quest. I really like this feature of the game, it pretty much individualizes the story. See, my brother loves the Dark Side, and loves killing (innocent) people in the game, while I like the Light Side, and save the galaxy from the Sith Lords!

But sometimes, the game can get REALLY boring in a few parts of the game, and the fighting is difficult, even if you have a lightsaber (Since you don’t begin with one at the start of the game).

Your allies’ personalities are very different from each others, and can be very funny at times (Especially Atton). You can even turn some of your allies into Jedis or Siths, or depending on which side you’re on, and you can have a BIG influnce on them (Except Kriela), since all your allies have one thing in common. They’re Force Sensitives.

This is a very good game which I recommend you guys to play. It has a very strong moral that applies in real life, even on the Dark Side, which the moral is the same. The game is on Xbox and PC, and it is a game which teenagers and older can really enjoy.

Discrimination

Well, our teacher asked us to do this task on our blogs. So I suppose this post should be a good comment to my teacher’s.

When I was preparing for my Autism talk, I was concerned that the kids will discriminate me because I told them something that society doesn’t fully accept. I was scared for my life when I was talking up there, although I DID NOT SHOW IT.

Discrimination is what I’m concerned about, and people come up with new things to discriminate against, because there are limitless things that people might hate with no good reason or agree with the sterotypical label that a random person announces.

I’m worried that discrimination is going to screw society up completely in the future, make more wars and spread more hate throughout the world. I have a bad feeling if we don’t do something about it now, we maybe having a war starting on the base of discrimination. I’ve been worried about this my whole life, and I’m willing to stop it, even if it might cost my life. I’ve also had to cope with this my entire life, so I’m happy to destroy discrimination.

I hope people accept each other now, and in the future, because we could all make a differance in the world today and tomorrow. That’s all folks.

An Interesting RP I’ve joined up

Well, I got to talk about this don’t I?

This RP is made up in the FESS Forums that I’ve been a member of since April. And I must say, I’m enjoying this forum because there are a lot of smart people in it. I’m known as AeonFrodo on FESS by the way.

Anyway, I’ve recently joined up this RP HERE. It’s called The Cash, The Kill, and it’s got an incredble storyline to it that you really need to read this link to find out. And I have no idea how Ryene came up with it, but he’s got one hell of a story to tell, and needs the rest of us to help him write it. Sign ups for this RP have closed in case you guys really wanted to join up.

My character, Tommy Kane Jamieson is one of the infected ones, with powers of lightning/electricity, that are triggered by his emotions affecting his High Functioning Autism. He can run at lightning speeds, go through objects which hold electricity (Eg. Electric Fence) and attack his enemies with lightning bolts. Someone already has come up with a nickname which I’ve bolded and quoted on the site.

Anyway, this link here is the thread of which the RP Story is taking place in. I really hope you guys enjoy reading this.

Going Solo Preview

Well, I thought about this, and I think I should post the first eight pages of my new story/fanfiction, Going Solo as a preview.

If you don’t know what a fanfiction is, I’ll tell you guys. A fanfiction is a storyline you make up based on the characters on T.V. Shows/Video Games/Movies/Musicals and the T.V Shows/Video Games/Movies/Musicals itself. The storyline is what most people who write fanfictions make up, but some people do make their own characters to join the other characters, and it is a lot of fun to write them, but difficult too, as keeping the characters in character is hard.

Code Lyoko is an animated Cartoon made in France (Woot!) and it’s my second favourite cartoon of all time. Here is the link for more info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_Lyoko. Even though it’s from Wikipedia it is VERY accurate! I recommend for you to read it.

In your comment, please give some critism if needed. And I hope you guys enjoy this.

Episode 12: Going Solo

A boy fourteen years of age walked down the corridor of the school. He was of athletic build, had brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a green t-shirt under his greenish brown jacket, blue jeans and had a black bag on his right hip and the bag’s strap over his left shoulder. As he took another step he almost tripped over his black shoelaces. The teenage boy bent down, and tied his shoelaces quickly. He brushed the sides of his black runners hastily, sprung back to his feet and started sprinting down the corridor. The boy burst out of Kadic Academy’s front doors and stopped after running a few metres from the door. Personally he didn’t want to meet the person who wanted to see him, but after all, he took after that person. That person, his father, wanted perfection from his only child. His son obviously was put under a lot of stress by his father and can only wait until he was free of his father’s grasp. That was also why the boy rarely opens up to people about his own personal life, which only a very few number of people know about. The boy scanned the schoolyard and caught his father storming towards him.

His father had brown hair and brown eyes similar to his son’s, and wore a white suit and a black tie. His shoes were black and polished.

That confirmed the boy’s suspicions about the next conversation he’ll have with his father. It would be another argument about perfection and achieving that. The boy wasn’t interested in perfection, but had the interest to do the best of his ability.

He wasn’t like his father, but was Ulrich Stern, a boy who aspires to achieve the best of his ability and change the world in his own special way.

Ulrich’s father stopped three metres in front of Ulrich and looked in his eyes with seriousness. Ulrich showed no fear on his face, but inside he wished his father wasn’t a damned perfectionist.

“Ulrich, your last term grades were extremely disappointing,” his father started speaking, “I can’t believe you got a C minus on your last maths test. You should be getting an A plus!”

“Dad, I tried my best. Isn’t that-” Ulrich stated.

“Don’t give me that Ulrich!” Mr. Stern, his father, interrupted, “that is definitely not your best, boy!”

“Dad, last time I had a maths test I got an F plus! Is my new result like an F plus to you? I worked my arse off studying, and you say my C minus is not good enough?” Ulrich demanded.

Although, he knew his father would reply along the lines ‘That grade isn’t good enough’, but Ulrich had to stick to the fact he did his best in that test and preparing for it.

“No, it isn’t,” Mr. Stern responded.

At that moment Ulrich opened his bag with his right hand and searched through it. Mr. Stern raised his eyebrows in suspicion of what his son was doing.

“Are you searching for something important?” Mr. Stern asked in an icy, cold voice.

Ulrich ignored his father and continued searching through his bag. Suddenly Ulrich stopped moving his hand through his bag when he felt a cold, yet smooth object in his left hand. He pulled out his iPod Nano carefully out of his bag and quickly unravelled the ear phones.

Mr. Stern stared in astonishment at his son’s weird behaviour as Ulrich closed his bag.

Mr. Stern’s face quickly turned back to his serious face and questioned, “Why is that iPod important to you?”

“That’s because I don’t want to listen to your crap about perfecting my schoolwork when my respect for your wishes isn’t good enough,” Ulrich replied and inserted one of the ear phones in his left ear.

He spun around and walked away from his father.

“Come back here boy!” Mr. Stern barked.

Ulrich opened the school doors and ignored his father as he kept walking down the corridor in Kadic Academy.

Ulrich felt an overwhelming sense of pride rush into him. He for once proved that he could stop his father’s useless rants on perfecting his schoolwork.

As he moved the right ear phone near his ear, he heard footsteps moving at a very fast pace along the floor coming towards him.

Ulrich let go of the ear phone, removed the other from his left ear and threw his iPod in his open bag. He nimbly closed it and sprinted after realising his father wasn’t going to let him get away that easily. He noticed a staircase approaching on his left. Ulrich turned left and scaled the stairs quickly.

About three quarters up the stairs Ulrich looked down despite his fear of heights to check if his father was gaining ground on him.

Mr. Stern launched himself on the flight of stairs, and was climbing up as fast as he could, but not as fast as Ulrich can.

Ulrich looked up and noticed another set of stairs going up to the third floor. Ulrich hesitated no longer with his pounding head and ran up the second flight of stairs quickly.

He immediately turned right down a thirty metre corridor and then turned a sharp left to a corridor three hundred metres long.

The corridor had seven brown wooden doors to each side of it, walls that were painted white and brown carpet covering the floor.

Ulrich entered the first door to his left without thinking; He closed the door and scanned the room.

The room had a single king sized bed touching the left wall. Behind the bed was a brown wooden drawer containing clothes. In the right corner of the room there was a desk in an L-shape which had a computer and heaps of papers on it. The desk had a window behind it to let in light. There was also a comfortable chair to sit on. The walls were white and the carpet was brown.

Ulrich then noticed a girl was studying in the room. She had short pink hair and brown eyes. She wore a purple dress with long sleeves and goes down to her knee level. She also wore hot pink boots. She was also about a year younger than Ulrich.

She looked up at Ulrich with sweat pouring out of his brow and asked, “Ulrich, are you alright?”

“No, my father’s chasing after me. Is there a spot that I can hide from him?” Ulrich enquired.

“The only good place is under my bed,” The girl answered.

“That’ll do. Thanks Aelita,” Ulrich said.

He dropped on the floor and rolled under the bed like a commando. He stopped with his back on the carpet and shuffled as close as he can to the wall.

Aelita, the girl, continued studying and acted like nothing had happened. Ulrich admired the darkness and the smallness in his new hideout, but it was hard to breathe and difficult to kept his body still.

The doorknob turned and Mr. Stern let himself in Aelita’s dorm.

Ulrich held his breath when he observed his father’s shiny black shoes walking closer to him.

“Excuse me,” Mr. Stern said to Aelita.

Aelita looked up at Ulrich’s father, who had a serious expression on his face.

“Do you know where my son is?” Mr. Stern enquired.

“Who is your son sir?” Aelita asked.

God Aelita, get my Dad out of here before I start to panic, Ulrich thought, focusing on keeping his body still.

“His name is Ulrich Stern, do you know him?” Mr. Stern questioned.

“No, I don’t,” Aelita lied, responding almost immediately.

However, Aelita knew Ulrich very well and knows about his problems with his father. She also was one of Ulrich’s best friends.

“Well, if you see that twerp alert me,” Mr. Stern said.

Aelita nodded, pretending she will do that for Mr. Stern.

Mr. Stern left the room and shut the door behind him.

Ulrich could still hear his father’s footsteps across the floor, and the clear sound echoed through the corridor as Mr. Stern ran down the flight of stairs.

Aelita turned and looked down at her bed and smiled, and believed she done a wonderful job protecting Ulrich from his demanding father.

“The coast is clear-” Aelita announced.

“Wait. My Dad hasn’t gone downstairs yet,” Ulrich interrupted.

“You mean he’s still up here?” Aelita enquired.

“No, he’s going down the stairs right now. I’m waiting for him to get down to the first floor,” Ulrich responded.

“I understand,” Aelita said.

Ulrich didn’t trust the fact that his father was going to forget his great escape easily and wants to make sure he doesn’t get caught by his father.

Ulrich breathed in deeply and let a huge puff of air escape his mouth. He cannot hear his father’s heavy steps any longer. He sighed in relief that he won’t get caught by his Dad.

Ulrich rolled out in an exposed area in the room, with his back on the floor. He stretched his arms and legs out. When he relaxed his muscles, he slowly stood up and jogged on the spot to keep the blood pumping. He stopped soon enough and stared at Aelita, who was looking at him too.

“Aelita, I owe you one. Thanks,” Ulrich said.

“No problem. What on Earth did you do to make your father chase you like that?” Aelita enquired.

“Dad was talking about perfecting my grades. So I got out my iPod and walked away. He chased me afterwards and yeah, you know what happened next,” Ulrich answered.

“Well, you are rude when people annoy you,” Aelita mentioned.

“I-” Ulrich said, but was interrupted by his mobile phone ring tone ringing.

Ulrich quickly searched his bag for his mobile phone, feeling everything in the bag. He touched his mobile phone, gripped it and pulled it out of his black bag.

He looked at the screen of his new silver mobile phone and realised it was a text message, much to his surprise.

He pushed a button to view the text message. It said: ‘Dn’t u dare run away from me like that. If u do that again, I’ll send u 2 a skool where u will b picked on and I wn’t give a dam bout u.

Ulrich’s stomach churned at the sight of the disturbing message. He gritted his teeth and put the phone in his bag.

He gained his composure and thought; You never really cared about me at all père.

Aelita noticed Ulrich’s serious face and questioned, “Is there something wrong Ulrich?”

“Dad’s threatening me to send me to another school if I defy him again,” Ulrich replied.

“I believe you did a great job dealing with your father today,” Aelita said.

Ulrich smiled at Aelita and said, “Thanks a lot.”

Suddenly, Ulrich’s phone rang for the second time in a minute. Almost immediately Ulrich inserted his hand in his bag and in a split second retrieved his mobile phone. He pressed the talk button and held his phone up to his ear.

“Hello, Ulrich here,” Ulrich said.

“Hello,” The voice said on the end of the reciever.

The voice on the other line sounded quite strange, but had masculinity in it. Ulrich knew the person behind the voice, and was relieved it wasn’t his father calling back.

“Is there something-” Ulrich said.

“Yes. Come to my dorm right now,” The voice interrupted.

“And Jeremie, take it easy on me. I just escaped my father’s wrath,” Ulrich replied.

“I will try. See you soon,” Jeremie said and hung up.

Ulrich hung up his mobile and put it back in his bag. He faced Aelita and said, “We have to go to Jeremie’s now.”

“Lead the way Ulrich,” Aelita said.

Ulrich opened the door to the corridor, letting Aelita through first before himself. He shut the door behind him and walked down the corridor, with Aelita close behind him.

Ulrich planned to use the way he came up here, except they were going in the reverse direction. They turned right to the corridor and then turned left to go downstairs. Jeremie’s dorm was on the second floor, so Ulrich and Aelita didn’t need to go down an extra flight of stairs.

While walking down the stairs Aelita stared at Ulrich’s face and asked, “Ulrich, did Jeremie tell you what he’s going to tell you?”

“No, why do you ask?” Ulrich enquired.

The teenagers finished climbing down the stairs and walked through a thirty metre corridor with seven brown doors on each side. Jeremie’s dorm was the third room to the left.

As Ulrich walked through the corridor he waited for Aelita’s answer to his question.

“Well because-” Aelita trailed off.

“Because of what?” Ulrich asked.

He approached the door to Jeremie’s dorm and placed his left hand on the doorknob, ready to turn.

“I have a feeling this might be bad news about Yumi,” Aelita answered.

Ulrich was hit straight to the heart, and his mind and body was taken over by thoughts of his girlfriend, Yumi. They got back together a month ago when Yumi finished her massive load of homework and exams for the semester.

At the time Ulrich was very glad he could spend more time with the girl he loves and respects him for who he was.

Everything great was happening all at once for him, but one week ago she disappeared without a trace, leaving Ulrich devastated. To make matters worse, his good friend William also disappeared.

The thought of Yumi possibly running away with William did cross his mind, but he knew William respects their relationship and Yumi was in love with Ulrich.

Ulrich missed Yumi’s presence and wished she was here.

Aelita noticed Ulrich concentrate on Yumi and felt guilty for reminding him.

“Sorry Ulrich,” Aelita said.

Ulrich shook his head gently to put himself back in reality. He turned the doorknob and opened the door to be greeted by a very similar room to Aelita’s.

The only differences in the room were Jeremie’s desk was against the back wall. He was even lucky enough to have a window with heaps of sunlight entering into the room. On the left wall above his bed was a picture of Jeremie’s idol, Albert Einstein.

“Hi Ulrich. Hi Aelita. Thanks for bringing Aelita along, I was just about to ring her,” Jeremie’s voice said.

Ulrich looked at Jeremie sitting at his desk, who had short blonde hair and blue eyes. He wore glasses at every waking minute of the day. He wore a dark red jumper, beige three-quarter shorts and blue runners. He was also the same age as Ulrich.

Ulrich and Aelita walked into the room and put themselves in different spots in the room. Ulrich was leaning back on the right wall near Jeremie’s desk. Aelita sat on Jeremie’s bed near his picture of Albert Einstein.

“Is Odd coming soon?” Aelita asked.

“Actually he should be here right now,” Jeremie responded.

Odd’s dorm was only three doors away from Jeremie’s dorm, but he hasn’t arrived yet.

“Maybe he’s saying goodbye to his internet girlfriends,” Ulrich suggested.

Jeremie gave a little smirk and mumbled, “That’s why he’s always late.”

“And if I was in our room right now I swear I would go to our dorm, get him off his arse and drag him here,” Ulrich continued in a frustrated tone of voice.

Suddenly the door swang open, which startled everyone in the room. Behind the door revealed a boy the same age as Ulrich and Jeremie. He had blonde hair with a spike tilting towards the back of his head being held by gel, but there was a big purple patch in the middle, which was the spot where he put too much gel. He wore a light purple jumper with a hood over a dark purple long sleeve shirt and wore dark purple three quarter shorts. He also wears red runners.

“Hi everybody,” the boy said with enthusiasm.

“It’s about time you’ve arrived Odd,” Ulrich said harshly.

Odd ignored Ulrich’s rash greeting and walked towards Aelita. He knelt in front of Aelita and noticed her hands on her lap. He gently held her right hand and raised it up to his chin level.

“Hello Princess,” Odd said and kissed the back of Aelita’s hand.

Aelita gave a small chuckle and replied, “That’s very charming Odd, but I’m already taken.”

Aelita winked at Jeremie, reassuring him that she’s not falling for Odd’s charm.

Odd stood up and leaned on the door.

“So Einstein, why did you call us up?” Odd enquired in a laid back tone.

“Well,” Jeremie started, “I was loading up information from my laptop to the computer here and I received… a distress call.”

Ulrich, Odd and Aelita felt a jolt through their bodies, getting really worried about the caller, especially Ulrich who was extremely worried for Yumi.

“Is it from Yumi?” Ulrich asked in concern.

“I don’t think so, she sounds very… noble, and it’s incredibly hard to tell whether it’s a distress call or not, but it is. I’ll play back the contents of the call to you guys and please pay attention to this,” Jeremie ordered.

He moved the mouse to the bottom of the screen and clicked Microsoft Media Player. He already had the distress call recorded on Microsoft Media Player, so he clicked the play button.

“This is a call of distress from my unknown location. From all the evil society has created that seemed to be fictitious has now become reality. The fictitious worlds have collided with Earth, and so more evil can be spread across each and every world more easily. That means the human race will no longer exist in ten years time,” the feminine voice said.

Everyone dropped their jaws, paralysed with shock.

Jeremie only heard the first ten seconds of the message before he called his friends about it, and was as gob smacked as they were.

He paused the message and asked, “Did anyone see that coming?”

“I thought you listened to the entire thing before,” Odd retorted.

“No, I only heard the first ten seconds of it,” Jeremie argued back.

“Well, how many fictitious worlds are there?” Aelita enquired.

“MILLIONS! Imagine how many enemies we are up against!” Jeremie exclaimed.

“I think this is just a hoax by Xana to freak us out. Let’s just deactivate the tower and destroy the message,” Odd replied.

“Um Odd, she sounds serious enough to be talking about this. And is there more to this distress call Jeremie?” Ulrich questioned.

“Yes there is,” Jeremie answered.

He clicked the play button to continue the distress call.

“We should’ve been able to fight back the evil forces, but someone has messed up the time-wrap in the fictitious worlds to make the villains have the advantage, and only a few amount of us can fight the forces of vice. Our only hope resides in ten warriors; five of them will receive gifts the sacred orbs have to offer, while the other five bring gifts of their own. One of these warriors is you, Ulrich Stern,” the feminine voice said.

Jeremie paused the message again and looked at Ulrich.

Ulrich felt overwhelmed by everyone locking their eyes on his. He felt like he was being cornered by men taller and stronger than him.

“I wonder why out of all the heroes you were chosen to do this,” Odd said.

“By my stats of our battles in Lyoko, Ulrich has been last man standing, last to be devirtualized, able to fend off most enemies by himself and he managed to defeat a clone of himself. He is by far the strongest member in our group. Do you need any more proof why he was chosen?” Jeremie demanded.

Odd shook his head.

“Well, that certainly proves he is the best warrior here,” Aelita said.

“But what makes me so special to be one of ten warriors to save the world?” Ulrich demanded.

“We shall find out,” Jeremie responded.

He clicked the play button and the message started again.

“You must find the rest of the warriors Ulrich. Luckily, the group is together and heading to the Rose Morning Star. Like every one of these warriors you have an important part in the group. Even though this journey might drain you physically and mentally the rest of the warriors will help you through this. We are all depending on your efforts and the warriors. Good luck,” the feminine voice said, and with that the message was finished.

Ulrich was still recovering from the shock of being one of the chosen ones to save the world, and yet he wondered how he could play an important part.

“Is the message authentic Jeremie?” Odd enquired.

Jeremie minimized Microsoft Media Player and put up a new window with the map of the new world.

“Before I called you guys up I checked if it was authentic, and it is. Check out the map,” Jeremie answered.

Ulrich, Aelita and Odd walked towards the computer screen and stared at the newly formed world. The Earth was a lot bigger; in fact, it was bigger than the sun itself! The teenagers were surprised at the Earth’s size, and confirmed their suspicions of the message.

They also noticed that Jeremie outlined the base of Skidbladnir, the submarine, was. Everyone was rather surprised of Skidbladnir’s prensence, since it was destroyed when William was saved from Xana’s grasp.

Jeremie observed each of his friends’ reactions to the outline, and glad they looked like they’re trying to figure out what he was doing.

“Hey, I thought the Skid was destoryed when we rescued William,” Odd mentioned.

“I managed to recover the program, and then activated it through the supercomputer after school a couple of days eariler. I was about to tell you tomorrow, but the reason why I told you now is obvious,” Jeremie responded.

“Well, I’m certainly looking forward to what your outline means,” Aelita said.

“Actually, I’ll tell you guys now. This outline is how Ulrich is going to get as close as he possibly can to the Rose Morning Star. Ulrich and Aelita will go to Lyoko to ride Skidbladnir through the Digital Sea, then-” Jeremie explained.

“Wait,” Odd interrupted, “Lyoko is on Earth right now?”

“Yes. Anyway, Aelita needs to drop Ulrich off, and Ulrich will need to find a waterfall to go and explore the world to search for the rest of the warriors,” Jeremie explained.

Ulrich walked backwards and stood in the middle of the room to get some space. He felt the pressure build up inside of him, because not only Lyoko and Earth were resting on his shoulders, but every single world that had existed was on his shoulders.

Jeremie spun the computer chair to face Ulrich and felt deeply concerned for him.

Odd and Aelita noticed Jeremie’s serious face towards Ulrich, and both of them felt empathy for Ulrich.

“I find it hard to let go of Ulrich, even if he’s gone for a short amount of time,” Jeremie said.

Odd shuffled around in his place, and replied, “Man, I’m going to miss him.”

“Well, Ulrich is your roommate after all. I would feel the same as you Odd,” Aelita said.

“You know Princess, if it weren’t for Ulrich I wouldn’t have a clue about Lyoko and you,” Odd mentioned, who put on the sleaziest voice possible.

“Nice try Odd,” Aelita said.

She wasn’t going to fall for Odd’s charm anytime sooner.

“That’s true Aelita. I wouldn’t be here right now if Ulrich didn’t protect me from my malfunctioned mini robots and Yumi would never been recruited as well. Ulrich is our pillar of strength, and that’s why we find it difficult to let him go,” Jeremie explained.

Ulrich turned around to face his friends and asked, “Do you guys really appreciate my efforts?”

Ulrich was a person who was rarely appreciated for the things he does best. In fact, the only thing the school community appreciate about him was he was Kadic Academy’s star player for the soccer team, thus making him the most popular boy in school, but only because of his sporting achievements.

“We do Ulrich; otherwise we would never be here today. We will all miss you for the time that you’re gone, but what you’re doing is for a bigger cause,” Jeremie responded.

A tear welled up in Ulrich’s left eye, but he managed to smile and cried, “Thank you.”

Ulrich took a deep breath in and breathed out, calming himself down.

“No problem, and hey, you might find Yumi and William,” Odd said.

Ulrich felt his heart flutter at the sound of finding Yumi, his girlfriend. He also wanted to find William, but his thoughts of his girlfriend overwhelmed him, and it raised his hopes of finding them both.

“I should get packing,” Ulrich said, “I’ll see you guys soon.”

Ulrich spun around and walked towards the door.

“Hey, I’ll help you pack!” Odd shouted and rushed to Ulrich’s side.

Ulrich nodded and opened the door for him. Odd darted out of the room into the corridor in excitement.

Ulrich looked back at Aelita and Jeremie and smiled, almost laughing out loud.

“I don’t get why he’s excited about packing my things,” Ulrich said, still smiling.

Aelita noticed something different about Ulrich; he seemed happier and more positive than he ever was before.

“Ulrich, I’ve never seen you smile like that. Are you excited too?” Aelita enquired.

Ulrich covered his mouth and breathed through his nose. He gained his composure and took another breath.

“A little bit,” Ulrich answered.

“Well, you look really handsome when you smile. You should smile more often,” Aelita said.

“And I bet we’re not the first people to see that smile of yours,” Jeremie added.

Ulrich smiled at his friends and closed the door behind him.

Author’s notes

This story is based after the gang free William from his possessed form, which the episode of the show hasn’t been released ANYWHERE around the world, so I’m assuming that William is free from that. Scratch that, I just found out that the latest Code Lyoko episode in France just had William free from his possession from Xana, which is good news for my story, making it true to the T.V Show. And I managed to guess the correct episode William was going to be free from Xana! Well, that’s a first for me.

Père is French for father if you’re wondering.

I hope you enjoyed it, and please comment and give me constructive critism if I need it.

First Post! Yay!

Well, this is my first post. So hi everyone! This is pretty awesome so far, and hopefully, I can publish my new story after my two year hituas! Wow, has it been that long?

My name is Monique, and I enjoy writing stories, getting new information revelvant to me, spending time with my friends and family, cartoons and I like talking to people because I don’t do that a lot *Grits teeth*.

Anway, hi!
